In this 45-minute guided tour, we will take you through the design of The Macallan House and how each element pays tribute to the brand’s six pillars, showcasing our character and spirit. We will also bring you to a dedicated tasting area with an art installation, where you can savour a dram of The Macallan Double Cask 18 Years Old.

Hosted by our Brand Ambassador, this immersive session reveals the craftsmanship behind our Sherry Oak Collection, shaped by our exceptional sherry seasoned European oak casks from Jerez de la Frontera.

The Macallan Bar

The store has been designed in collaboration with internationally award-winning architect Jamie Fobert and brings together unique elements of our brand through innovative design and contemporary interiors. The space is intended to transport guests to Speyside through immersive experiences where guests can learn about our brand home, legacy and our vision for the future.

On display, and available to purchase, will be an extensive collection of limited edition and core range of single malt whiskies, as well as a beautiful portfolio of lifestyle accessories. In the bar and dining area guests can sample The Macallan by the dram, while enjoying a fine-dining experience.

The Space

Embellished within The Macallan House are design elements that reference and celebrate the foundation stones of our distinct character and spirit.

The copper walls are a reflection of our Curiously Small Stills and a celebration of the River Spey. The oak flooring used throughout pays homage to our sherry seasoned oak casks.

The colour red can be seen throughout the space, drawing inspiration from the significance of red throughout the history of The Macallan and its association with our founder, Alexander Reid.

Celebrating the fertile soil from Jerez la Frontera, Spain, the Albariza stone celebrates the home of the sherry wine which gives our whisky its characteristic profile.

Our artist collaborations reflect The Macallan's dedication towards incomparable mastery, and the waved walls have been designed in recognition of The Macallan’s unique Distillery roof and beauty of the Scottish landscape.
